The Makwa Experience

Driving route: Cherry Capital Airport → Sleeping Bear Dunes Visitor Center → Dune Climb (1 hr stop) → Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive (1 hr stop) → Return to Cherry Capital Airport (round trip). • Approx. total time: 4–5 hours including scenic stops.

Makwa Tour Times & Booking

Day Tour: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM • Optional swimming at Glen Haven or Empire.

Evening + Sunset Tour: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (includes extra time for sunset views) • Optional swimming at Glen Haven or Empire.

Family, kid & dog-friendly • Up to 5 people • Dogs up to 40 lbs that are friendly with people, kids & other pets.
